Time Line Jumping...

A failed cannabis fast

I started a proven 40-day timeline, jumping fast to accelerate my business and my love life into a new reality.

I fasted from weed as a way to bring clarity to my business.

I fasted from my decades-long obsession and never missed an episode of a romantic reality TV show (90 Day Fiance) to bring actual love into my life. (It worked! More on that plot twist in a different newsletter…stay tuned)

I quit four days before the final 40.

And I binged on weed.

I told myself what I was doing didn't matter (this is often what I tell myself when things get tough in my healing business: that what I do must not matter) because the cravings were still there. I was no closer to my goals than the day I started abstaining to clear my mind and accelerate my business.

So I marched down to the cannabis store and got two joints.

I had a wonderful day with my family, told myself that everything was okay, and passed out on the couch after my third smoke session of the day. Missing the IG and Youtube Live, I had promised everyone on social media, and I had promised myself I would do, to connect with folks who need my and Spirit's help to gain clarity in their business and relationship lives. 

I sunk into the couch, warm and cozy, and wrapped myself in defeat.

At 9 am (hours after my normal wake-up time of 6:30 am…because uhhhhhhh excess weed will keep you in the couch in a fog instead of doing the good work), I woke up to a text from a very successful entrepreneur and friend:

“At the height of your salon business…what did you make net and gross?”

WHAT THE FUCK? Why do I have to think about THIS right now?

We speed texted; she asked me hard and long questions, and I answered honestly. 

Clarity came.

Even in my attempt to sabotage the mission. 

The Universe, God, Source…Knows the assignment

I'm always shocked when you are purpose-driven and spiritually connected…You can not fail. 

You can delay, learn, grow, stay curious, or get deeply depressed…

But when you are connected to something higher, wider and more intricate than the solar system itself, as rare as a snowflake and connected with a million other snowflakes…You become an avalanche. 

Nothing can stand in your way…

Your CALLING, Your Mission, Your destiny…nothing can stop the forward flow.

For 36 days straight, I let go of things I had used daily to smear the clarity of my destiny so that I could hide from success. And each day, I found some way to hide even more.

The day I thought I was cheating and had let go…the plan of how to get back to work and fulfill my destiny woke me up with a ding and was spelled out (with receipts) in my phone.

During my fast, I collaborated with a wonderful client to offer Mastery of Love, a four-part Sound Bath Series to her Loves and to you, My LOVE. This series will be offered on a sliding scale.
