Last year in November I did a little online root work for LoVe.
Many in my close family were suffering from heartache and because I was praying and counseling (and by counsel I really mean just listening, crying and setting up dating profiles with) them…I got the download to open the practice of candle magic to everyone online who wanted to work on love in their lives.

MAGIC.
I like the word magic. It was cute when everyone was into black girl magic and black boy joy. But I don’t think many understood that magic is real and often learned or passed down generation to generation. I love movies like Harry Potter and The Magicians, where young folks are brought into a school to learn about their innate gifts. My new favorites are Discovery of Witches or Wheel of Time (had to add the link because I LOVE that show).
Magic is a mystery to most. If I use the word conjure folks get scared. If I use the word manifest…folks get new age.
My real favorite tho is Alchemy.
The book worm nerd in me knows that alchemy is a sciency word for magic, manifestation and conjure all wrapped in one.
The key thing about magic is…it all starts with your mind and focused meditation.
I taught folks that working a root or conjuring a lover starts with lighting a candle, the flame representing life and sitting in the energy of that life force of LOVE for 5 min each day.
Within months everyone who worked the root, the magic, the manifestation, whatever you want to call it, saw results. Their energy and the collective intention we all held attracted love. Collective prayer, meditation, root work, conjure…works! By welcoming and holding love in our minds and bodies we had alchemized our reality and brought love, like a natural magnet, into our lives.
Because what begins from within, manifests in our outer world.
This sparked a inner teacher in me and brought me to create book club intensives that help folks to discover and anchor into their own intuition, higher selves and magnetic attraction.
The next intensive starts Dec 21 and Im taking 10 people on this very intense magical journey. There will be astrology readings, somatic healings, intuitive practices, inner child and shadow work and the community care needed for you to to find your inner magician.
